Ross Davisson founded Banneton Capital in 2022 and leads its investing activities. Prior to starting Banneton Capital, Ross's career included time as an investor in public and private markets and as an executive in technology companies. Most recently, he was CFO at CircleUp, a fintech focused on discovering and providing capital to early-stage consumer packaged goods companies. Prior to CircleUp, Ross was an early employee at The Climate Corporation, an agricultural technology firm that was acquired by Monsanto (Bayer Crop Science). At Climate, Ross led Sales Operations, helping to plan and scale the go to market for Climate's insurance and data products for row crop farmers.
Earlier in his career, Ross was an investor in private equity at Bain Capital and in small cap public companies at Pivot Point Capital, as well as an analyst at McKinsey & Company.
Ross graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
